Course Summary

Code 3 Jiu Jitsu’s (C3JJ) Arrest and Control program is an application of Jiu Jitsu's foundational principles of leverage, timing, breathing and technique. Integrating conflict management through de-escalation, stress mitigation, and confidence in oneself creating a more confident officer.

Performance Objectives

Students will demonstrate weight distribution, control, timing, and survivability under stress. Students will identify positions of disadvantage and transition to neutral and subsequent dominant positions. The student will demonstrate fundamental movements associated with Jiu-Jitsu, as well as how these concepts integrate with any departmental arrest and control tactic program.
